QFG Townsville opened in 2000. When Dr Ron Chang became Medical Director in 2002 he immediately commenced a full-time IVF and infertility service. Today, QFG Townsville is assisting North Queensland couples in all areas of infertility, gynaecology and obstetrics. It is the only full time permanent, fully equipped and accredited infertility service and laboratory in Townsville, staffed by local nurses, a local embryologist and local doctors. In addition to providing IVF we offer all fertility treatments including ovulation monitoring and inductions, artificial inseminations, blastocyst culture and a variety of specialist male infertility treatment. QFG Townsville also provides complete male and female infertility investigations including chromosomal and genetic screening, counselling and a donor and freezing program.
