Weekend, After Hours & Public Holiday Access

This is via a video security system which is located at the main entrance of St Andrew's Place. Please follow the instructions on the panel to the left of the main door.

Smoking

This is prohibited throughout the building.

Facilities

A coffee Shop is open during the week on the first floor of the building.

Pharmacies are located nearby on Boundary Street.

An ATM is located at the main entrance of St Andrew's Hospital.

A complimentary bus service leaves from St Andrew's Place to the city every half hour.

Accounts

You are advised to check your Private Health Insurance cover before admission. Any fees or excess not covered by your Health Fund will be payable on the day of surgery. Should you require information about charges, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Your Checklist

1. Send in completed forms as soon as possible
2. Fast for six hours prior to surgery
3. Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you for 24 hours
4. Bring in your Medicare card, Health Fund cards and IVF receipts if applicable on admission/li>
5. Are you aware of your out of pocket expenses for your doctor, anaesthetist and the Day Theatres?

Getting There & Parking

A public car park is available from Monday to Friday, (usual inner city carparking rates apply).

Alternatively there is a car park at St Andrew's Hospital and some meter parking is available.

A pick up and set down point is directly outside the front entrance.
