Anusch is distinguished by his unique qualifications in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and minimally invasive pelvic surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS Hons) and completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in Brisbane. Following a fellowship in minimally invasive pelvic surgery in Sydney, he returned to Brisbane in 2002 to develop tertiary referral units in minimally invasive surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Mater Hospitals. In 2006, he completed further subspecialist training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI).

Anusch co-founded the Queensland Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (QIMIS), a not-for-profit organisation that conducts basic and advanced courses in pelvic surgery.

Anusch is a Staff Specialist at the Mater Hospital, a Visiting Medical Officer to the Royal Brisbane and Women's and Greenslopes Hospitals, a Senior Lecturer to the University of Queensland and a Director of the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society (AGES). He joined the Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) in 2008 as Director of Clinical Research and Development.

Anusch is the training supervisor for Queensland’s only specialist infertility and IVF training programme. He is widely published in medical journals, has co-authored textbooks and lectures widely nationally and internationally.

Anusch has a special interest in endometriosis, pelvic pain, minimally invasive and microsurgery, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, assisted reproduction (including IVF) and reproductive endocrinology.
